Grant services are offered on a retainer basis only. Each package is built to meet your goals. Regardless of the quantity of impact we build together, each package provides:

• A subscription to our Living Grants Matrix.

• Comprehensive ongoing grant preparation, research, writing, and submission. New projects require a six-month commitment as grant feedback takes time.

• Support with budget alignment and cash flow analysis. We also build our grants plan to predict, as best as possible, steady cash flow for your organization. This also means we pay close attention to profit and loss numbers - ensuring our asks align with your budgetary story.

• Continued improvement. At Thrive, we become part of your mission. This means you will most likely get a Wall Street Journal article on your mission delivered to your inbox at random weekend times by your grants team. Why? The more we know about your mission and sector, the better we will be at getting to a win.

• Metric development and tracking are often areas where nonprofit leaders want help. A grant is a fabulous tool to support the build-out of your metrics system. You agree to the goals of a project. We help build the tools to track it!

• Back to that lack of time issue, many nonprofit leaders have—we help keep you on track with donor cultivation and stewardship. From friendly reminders to reach out to pre-written emails you can copy and paste to attending a donor meeting alongside you, we are there to make sure you get the most out of your next grant!

A few things you won’t get:

• A story of how many dollars we have raised. No one factor, not even your awesome grant writer, affects the result of an application.

• Copy and paste or AI-generated submissions. Sure, we use these tools, but all applications sound human and are written to speak directly to the unique donor.

• One-and-done grants. We only provide retainer services.

• Just a grant writer. If you want someone to “just write” at a meager pay rate, we are not your people. We simply don’t believe that gets you the most bang for your buck.
